This Friday sees the launch of the Northfield Arts trail, with over 30 opportunities for everyone to get involved in a whole range of art experiences – most of which are free. No booking is needed – you can just turn up and get hands on with some art activity.
I will running a poetry workshop in Northfield Library, running from 12pm-4pm. This is a drop in session (18+) so quite relaxed and informal. Here’s the blurb:
‘Share your stories and enjoy an afternoon of writing to celebrate
Northfield, and the coming of Spring, with Helen Calcutt’
Simple as that! Please come prepared to write, share ideas, and have fun. There will be various tasks available to get the creative juices flowing, and a chance to chat one on one about your work. Ideally, I hope to take away some of your stories and poems and generate a ‘sound map’ of Northfield voices for the library. Only with your permission of course.

See you there!
