Berriew Arts Festival

“Imaginative truth is the most immediate way of presenting ultimate reality to a human being”

On June 23rd and 24th I’ll be working alongside Welsh poet  Paul Henry on a two-day writing event at the Andrew Logan Gallery, Berriew, as part of their annual arts festival. The event will offer workshops, inspired river walks and a shared evening reading, with a chance to perform your own work on the Sunday.

More info will be available soon, but for now please enjoy a still of Berriew with a quote from Thomas.

Also, something slightly different though related – Readings: this month sees the return of the Cheltenham Poetry Festival. I’m penned in for 19th at 12:30pm, followed by live music, drink, food et al. Tickets cost £7 and if you come I’ll give you a big soft one on the mouth. I will also be giving a reading in Shrewsbury on the 4th May, and another on the 10th (different venue). If you fancy booking any of these please drop me an email or contact the event organisers. Links are below.

Northfield Arts Trail: what a success and congratulations to everyone who took part. I’m currently working on piecing together our voices ‘sound map’ and should have that ready within the next few weeks. Looking forward to hearing all your thoughts on the finished piece.

That’s all folks. Enjoy the Easter drizzle.
