BIO

Helen is highly experienced performer and dance practitioner, originally trained in classical ballet, jazz, and commercial dance, before moving into her contemporary practice, and a career in dance-theatre and movement direction. As a choreographer she works across the U.K. and internationally, sharing a compelling, energetic, full-bodied method of movement. Helen works either with specific dance techniques, or towards interdisciplinary performances, drawing on her knowledge of text-based choreography to create physically immersive, narrative work. She is also a professional Cuban-rhythms and Cuban-salsa dancer, bringing a deep sense of musicality and ensemble connection to her movement direction.
